HTML Calendar

Tables are widely used by new designers and untrained coders as a way to layout their webpage. While it may help them lay out their basic information, it doesn't allow for a lot of creativity. This calendar assignment demonstrates proper use of an HTML table. When designing this project I wanted to make it fun, light, and cute. I went with a chalkboard theme which uses contrasting colours and JavaScript effects to show the holidays. When you hover over a date, the holiday appears off to the side. Even though it's using a basic HTML table, it's easy to use, easy to understand, and fun.
